CARC and USC Libraries Launch USC Dataverse
1 Successful collaboration brings Dataverse to USC.
The Dataverse Project is an open-source research data repository software that increases visibility and discoverability of research data. It is part of a broader movement to standardize sharing, preserving, citing, and exploring research data. We are excited to announce that this service is now available to the USC research community!
Using Dataverse, researchers can publish datasets associated with publications and get a digital object identifier to receive citations. USC faculty, students, and staff are all eligible to make deposits, which will be accessible to the public.
The USC Dataverse is a joint collaboration between CARC, who manages the Dataverse infrastructure, and the USC Libraries, who will provide data curation support.
You can find links to further information, such as the benefits of sharing your data and comprehensive instructions, at the Libraries’ research guide and the Dataverse Guides.
